American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame & Museum reviews

Lots of history, artifacts and the annual nominees to their wall of honor for members and horses. A great place to visit. Informative and interactive exhibits. Went as part of a veterans group from the Amarillo VA. Very enjoyable. I highly Recommend visiting the AQHA Museum.😁

Downstairs is a lot more kids oriented, which was well done but I wasn't there with children. Upstairs, though, had an awesome several room, elaborate, timeline of horse influence in American history that I found fascinating. They tied in what was happening in mainstream culture at the time (loved all the Disney movie releases) so it wasn't just reading meaningless dates, and then showed the 'hoof-print' quarter horses were making at the same time. Very cool.
