Natural History Museum houses one of the world's largest collections of natural history specimens. Here you can see 70 million specimens in the fields of botany, entomology, mineralogy, paleontology, and zoology. The vast collection makes it impossible to view everything on one visit, so consider a few of the highlights. You can choose from dinosaur skeletons, fossils, taxidermied specimens of large mammals, and artwork featuring exotic animals, among many other displays. Whichever exhibits you put on your list, make sure to include Treasures. This exhibit features specimens that the museum selected from its exhaustive collection for their scientific, historical, aesthetic, and cultural importance. You can visit permanent exhibits for free, but temporary exhibits have an associated fee. Lots of kid's favorites, lots of interactive exhibits. The building it's in is gorgeous, especially that main hall. Fun part of town too. more »

I went there with two classmates while studying in London in 2017. The place is huge, easy to get lost inside. The entrance was free at that time and the visit started on the Space/Planets area... more »

The building it self is an architectural marvel. It is an amazing structure. All the exhibits are very much informative and has great educational value. Without any difference every one can have a very good time at the museum.Section on dinosaurs give us a true picture on the subject. It can not be finished in one day because so much of items exhibits in this museum. Live like structure of T. Rex dinosaurs is amazing. Although it is such an amazing place to visit it's entrance is free of charge. But if you are willing you can give a donation.

One of the greatest natural history museums. Amazing collection of fossils and information. It's free but donations are naturally appreciated. Even just to come in the main hall and to see the skeleton of the blue whale is worth it. Not to mention that the building itself is beautiful to look at, and is wonderful to stroll around inside. If you enjoy museums, natural history, architecture, you must visit here while in London!
