Camino, London

#468 of 1,203 in Nightlife in London
Camino was inspired by a life-changing road trip in the summer of 1984, driving across Spain from north to south and back in blazing heat in a tiny old black mini. The landscape, the people and the lifestyle made a deep and everlasting impression, and left a burning need to recreate a piece of España back home in London.

  • Great Spanish tapas joint with draft beer and amazing food. Has a nice courtyard tucked away for summer night drinks and frosty winter time pints under outdoor heaters. The decor inside is of dark stained timber with minimal lighting. This can make it feel a little gloomy but this all adds to the atmosphere. I always have a great time here though it is a little pricey.
  • My daughter and I wanted to catch up over lunch and the tapas was ideal as it was relaxed and spread over time. The food was good, the Iberian pork was tender and juicy. They forgot to bring the spring onion dish until it was cold but otherwise the service was good. We enjoyed a pitcher of white sangria so we were very chilled after the meal.
