Above The Stag Theatre Reviews
Excellent venue! This theatre has an excellent setup that gives it a cozy feel. The bar serves all types of alcohol and not the extremely low end stuff that you find in other theatres. more »
Saw the annual pantomime; Pinocchio. Excellent adult entertainment nicely judged for a LGBT audience. Great performances from everyone and a wonderful Dame who had some elements of Evadne Hinge about.... more »
It's a nice, small theatre with a large bar area and gender neutral toilets. The atmosphere is casual-hipster vibe, staff were very friendly. View seems to be really good from any seat. Only issue is that the seats are extremely narrow and close together, you're basically cuddling anyone who's sitting next to you.
saw Extra Virgin Oil here 7th Feb. Gripping and intense play. Both actors gave great performances. A group of us regularly see shows here. A few weren't to our liking but overall they range from good to excellent. Very diverse shows which is the best part about it. A lot of talent showcased here from writers, artistic and creative team to the performers. Usually an enjoyable night out at a reasonable price
