The largest municipality in Missouri, Kansas City has an impressive array of world-class museums, shopping areas, and great places to eat, all of which attract tourism to the area.
On the 26th (Sat), indulge in some personalized pampering at Serenity on the Square, steep yourself in history at Bingham Waggoner Mansion & Estate, and then get lost in a book at Harry S. Truman Library and Museum. On your second day here, steep yourself in history at Union Station, brush up on your military savvy at National WWI Museum and Memorial, and then admire the masterpieces at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art.

Kick off your visit on the 28th (Mon): make a splash at Silver Dollar City. Known globally as the home of the country's largest independent film festival, Park City finds its roots as an old silver boomtown located on the slopes of the Wasatch Mountains, part of the Rocky Mountains.
