Madikeri is a hill station town in Karnataka state, India. Go for a jaunt from Madikeri to Bhagamandala to see Talakaveri about 1h 20 min away. There's lots more to do: head outdoors with Mandalpatti, tour the pleasant surroundings at Dubare Elephant Camp, take in nature's colorful creations at Raja's Seat, and steep yourself in history at Raja's Tomb.

Plan my Madikeri trip by asking Inspirock to come up with tips and suggestions.

Pune to Madikeri is an approximately 7.5-hour combination of flight and taxi. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and taxi. Cap off your sightseeing on the 27th (Thu) early enough to go by car to Nagarhole National Park.

The hill station of Kodagu consists of a number of small towns amid a vast landscape of forested hills, rocky outcrops, and waterfalls. As a result of the natural scenery, Kodagu holidays tend to focus on the outdoors, including hikes through scenic spice and coffee plantations. Round out your visit by exploring the indigenous Kodava culture through restaurants, temples, and shrines--all of which detail the history, language, beliefs, and festivals of this people.
