9 days in Cancun & Tulum Itinerary

Few destinations in Mexico dazzle visitors quite like Cancun, a modern resort town filled with glitzy hotels sitting on picturesque and well-developed Caribbean beaches.

Satisfy your inner culture vulture at La Isla Shopping Village and Galeria Balance Cancun. You'll get in some beach time at Playa Delfines and Playa Norte. Change things up with a short trip to Punta Sur in Isla Mujeres (about 1h 20 min away). There's lots more to do: stroll through Playa Tortugas, hunt for treasures at Mercado 28, get close to the beloved marine mammals with a swim-with-the-dolphins experience, and stop by Joyería Ambarte.

Brasilia, Brazil to Cancun is an approximately 11.5-hour flight. The time zone difference moving from Brasilia Standard Time (BRT) to Eastern Standard Time (EST) is minus 2 hours. In February in Cancun, expect temperatures between 32°C during the day and 23°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 18th (Thu) to allow enough time to drive to Tulum.

Traveling by car from Cancun to Tulum takes 2 hours. Alternatively, you can take a shuttle; or take a bus. In February in Tulum, expect temperatures between 31°C during the day and 21°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 22nd (Mon) to allow time to travel back home.
