Founded by the Spanish in 1521, San Juan is the oldest city under U.S. jurisdiction and one of the oldest in the Americas.
Make the 24th (Mon) a memorable day with a climbing tour. There's lots more to do: wander the streets of Old San Juan, brush up on your knowledge of spirits at Casa Bacardi Puerto Rico, pause for some serene contemplation at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, and kick back and relax at Pine Grove Beach.

With much of Culebra a nature refuge, the tropical island has been protected from overdevelopment, chain hotels, and the cruise set.
Start off your visit on the 26th (Wed): enjoy the sand and surf at Playa Zoni, step off the mainland to explore Culebrita, and then enjoy the sea views from Culebrita Lighthouse. On the 27th (Thu), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: kick back and relax at Flamenco Beach.
