Phoenix — 7 nights

Phoenix is the capital and most populous city of the U.S. state of Arizona. Get out of town with these interesting Phoenix side-trips: Thunderbird Conservation Park (in Glendale) and Scottsdale (McDowell Sonoran Preserve & Taliesin West). And it doesn't end there: see Off-Road Tours, wander the streets of Old Town Scottsdale, see the world from above with a helicopter tour, and examine the collection at Musical Instrument Museum.

Plan my trip to Phoenix with suggested itineraries provided by Inspirock.

New York City to Phoenix is an approximately 7-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. The time zone difference moving from Eastern Standard Time (EST) to Mountain Standard Time (MST) is minus 2 hours. Plan for much hotter temperatures traveling from New York City in March, with highs in Phoenix at 82°F and lows at 57°F. On the 19th (Sat), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can fly back home.
