Luang Prabang — 5 nights

Designated a World Heritage Site in 1995, Luang Prabang sits at the meeting point of two rivers and offers numerous opportunities for sailing, climbing, and exploring scenic caves and waterfalls.
Step out of Luang Prabang to go to Nong Khiaw and see 100 Waterfalls, which is approximately 52 minutes away. Spend the 20th (Mon) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. The adventure continues: admire the sheer force of Kuang Si Waterfall, examine the collection at Royal Palace Museum, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Wat Mai Suwannaphumaham, and don't miss a visit to Wat Pa Huak.

The riverside capital of Laos, Vientiane still has a relatively small urban area and a laid-back, relaxed feel to it.
Kick off your visit on the 23rd (Thu): contemplate the long history of Great Sacred Stupa (Pha That Luang), pause for some photo ops at Wat That Luang Neua, take in the spiritual surroundings of Phat Tich Temple, hunt for treasures at Morning Market, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Wat Si Saket, and finally appreciate the history behind Black Stupa (That Dam).
