Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Honolulu: Haleiwa (Sunset Beach Park & Waimea Bay), Pu’u O Mahuka Heiau State Monument (in Pupukea) and Kailua Beach Park (in Kailua). And it doesn't end there: stroll the grounds of USS Arizona Memorial, steep yourself in history at Battleship Missouri Memorial, tour the pleasant surroundings at Waikiki Beach, and see the interesting displays at USS Bowfin Submarine Museum & Park.
