In many ways much more Asian than American, Honolulu is Hawaii's largest city and its center of government, transportation, commerce, and tourism.Venture out of the city with trips to Haleiwa (Sunset Beach Park & Waimea Bay) and Kailua Beach Park (in Kailua). Next up on the itinerary: stroll through Waikiki Beach, stroll the grounds of Valley of the Temples, contemplate the long history of Iolani Palace, and appreciate the history behind USS Arizona Memorial.
