The Motor City

Founded in 1701 by a French explorer and adventurer, Detroit exerted a profound impact on the world for most of the 20th century.
Attractions like Detroit Institute of Arts and DNR Outdoor Adventure Center make great kid-friendly stops. And it doesn't end there: steep yourself in history at The Ford Piquette Avenue Plant, stop by Mexicantown, don't miss a visit to The Spirit of Detroit, and take an in-depth tour of Charles H. Asheville nestles between two major mountain ranges in the scenic western section of North Carolina.
Kids will appreciate attractions like Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies and Titanic Museum Attraction. Venture out of the city with trips to Gatlinburg (Hollywood Star Cars Museum & Fowler's Clay Works) and Pigeon Forge (Rocky Top Mountain Coaster, The Island in Pigeon Forge, &more).
