Georgia's oldest city, Savannah displays its colonial history proudly on every corner.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Savannah: Tybee Island Beach (in Tybee Island) and Hilton Head (Hilton Head Island Bike Trails, Dolphin & Whale Watching, &more). Bayou City

Although urban sprawl remains synonymous with Houston, most of the city's tourist attractions lie within the relatively small downtown area, surrounded by diverse neighborhoods housing the nation's biggest African-American, Asian-American, and Latino communities.
Step out of Houston to go to Galveston and see The Seawall, which is approximately 1 hour away. Next up on the itinerary: examine the collection at Space Center Houston, stroll the grounds of Glenwood Cemetery, play a few rounds at Hermann Park, and engage your brain at The Houston Museum of Natural Science.
