Get out of town with these interesting Philadelphia side-trips: Brinton 1704 House & Historic Site (in West Chester) and Longwood Gardens (in Kennett Square). Start off your visit on the 2nd (Sat): take in the history at Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center, have some family-friendly fun at Victorian Photography Studio, then walk around Gettysburg National Military Park, and finally trot along with a tour on horseback. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 3rd (Sun): stop by Artworks, explore the striking landscape at Devils Den, then contemplate the long history of Little Round Top, then go on a hair-raising tour with a ghost and vampire tour, and finally stroll the grounds of Gettysburg National Cemetery.
