Pittsburgh — 59 nights

City of Bridges

Known primarily for its steel-related heritage and 446 bridges, Pittsburgh sits at the confluence of the Monongahela and Allegheny Rivers, which meet to form the Ohio River.
Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Pittsburgh: Latrobe (Mister Rogers' Park Bench, Twin Lakes Park, &more), Stoystown (Flight 93 National Memorial & Tower of Voices) and Wagner-Ritter House and Garden (in Johnstown). On the 8th (Sat), spend a day ambling around Mill Creek Park. Spend the 16th (Sun) exploring nature at Friendship Hill National Historic Site. There's much more to do: take in nature's colorful creations at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium, learn more about the world around you at Carnegie Museum of Natural History, and take an in-depth tour of Senator John Heinz History Center.

To see maps, where to stay, photos, and more tourist information, you can read our Pittsburgh trip itinerary website.

If you are flying in from Jamaica, the closest major aiports are Pittsburgh International Airport, Erie International Tom Ridge Field and Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. In June in Pittsburgh, expect temperatures between 30°C during the day and 19°C at night.
