A tiny town with big tourist appeal, Pigeon Forge bills itself as the "Center of Fun in the Smokies." Just a short drive from the national park protecting the diverse plant and animal life of the Great Smoky Mountains, the town features numerous places to visit, such as bars, restaurants, cafes, theaters, and shops.
Start off your visit on the 31st (Mon): get in on the family fun at Smoky Mountain River Rat Tubing, then get in on the family fun at The Coaster at Goats on the Roof, then make a splash at Outdoor Gravity Park, and finally kick your exploration up a notch at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks. On your second day here, cool off at Dollywood's Splash Country Water Adventure Park, find something for the whole family at Rocky Top Mountain Coaster, then see the interesting displays at Alcatraz East Crime Museum, and finally find something for the whole family at Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster.
