Aptly nicknamed the "Mile-High City," Denver sits at an altitude of 1,600 m (5,280 ft) above sea level, located right where the Great Plains give way to the Rocky Mountains.

Traveling by car from Denver to Colorado Springs takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or do a combination of train and flight. Expect a daytime high around 67°F in October, and nighttime lows around 39°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 23rd (Fri) early enough to drive to Aspen.

Getting from Colorado Springs to Aspen by car takes about 4 hours. Other options: fly; or take a bus. Traveling from Colorado Springs in October, expect Aspen to be a bit cooler, temps between 60°F and 30°F. You will have some time to spend on the 25th (Sun) before leaving for Atlantic City.

The gambling capital of the east coast, Atlantic City is best known for its numerous casinos, colorful boardwalk, and beach.

You can fly from Aspen to Atlantic City in 10 hours. Other options are to drive; or take a bus. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 2 hours traveling from Aspen to Atlantic City.
