The Discovery City

More than just one of the nation's top business centers, Columbus is a mixture of many different parts of America, situated at the spot where the so-called "Bible Belt" meets the varied cultures of the Great Plains and Appalachia.
Kids will appreciate attractions like Zipline and National Museum of the US Air Force. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Columbus: Char-Mar Ridge Preserve (in Westerville), Warther Museum (in Dover) and Kings Island (in Mason). There's still lots to do: meet the residents at Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, partake in some friendly competition at Houdini's Room Escape, examine the collection at Wagner-Hagans Auto Museum, and stop by Easton Town Center.

Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic, remains the oldest continuously inhabited settlement in the New World.
Kids will enjoy Basilica Cathedral of Santa Maria la Menor and Fortaleza Ozama. Venture out of the city with trips to Bayahibe (Conquista Park, Scuba & Snorkeling, &more), Juan Dolio Beach (in Juan Dolio) and Altos de Chavon (in La Romana).
