Kick off your visit on the 25th (Thu): explore the world behind art at North Carolina Museum of Art, then get curious at North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, and then have fun and explore at Marbles Kids Museum.

New Orleans is known for historic sites, nightlife, and museums. Your trip includes some of its best attractions: examine the collection at The National WWII Museum, admire the landmark architecture of St. Louis Cathedral, go on a hair-raising tour with a ghost and vampire tour, and get to know the fascinating history of Garden District.

You can fly from Raleigh to New Orleans in 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. The time zone changes from Eastern Standard Time (EST) to Central Standard Time (CST), which is usually a -1 hour difference. Plan for much hotter nights when traveling from Raleigh in March since evenings lows in New Orleans dip to 61°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 29th (Mon) so you can catch the flight back home.
