The tiny but densely populated city of Male represents a contrast to the laid-back beach resorts found in much of the rest of the Maldives.
Kick off your visit on the 18th (Sat): admire the landmark architecture of Hukuru Miskiiy (Old Friday Mosque), then take a tour by water with Boat Tours & Water Sports, and then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Grand Friday Mosque. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 19th (Sun): hunt for treasures at Male Fish Market, then browse the exhibits of National Museum, and then tour the pleasant surroundings at Hulhumale Beach.
