A major center for tourism and travel, Baltimore is famous as the city where amateur poet Francis Scott Key wrote the lyrics for the United States' national anthem.
Kick off your visit on the 3rd (Wed): get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at National Aquarium, then engage your brain at Maryland Science Center, then admire the masterpieces at The Walters Art Museum, and finally pause for some serene contemplation at Saint Alphonsus Church.

One of the country's most popular shopping destinations, Dallas and its sprawling suburbs include more shopping centers per capita than any other urban center in America.
On the 4th (Thu), stop by Wild Bill's Western Store. On the next day, get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at The Dallas World Aquarium, then examine the collection at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, and then make a trip to Grassy Knoll.
