Albany is the capital of the U.S. state of New York and the seat of Albany County. Start off your visit on the 18th (Fri): take in the architecture and atmosphere at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, learn more about the world around you at New York State Museum, then get engrossed in the history at USS Slater DE-766, and finally get a sense of history and politics at New York State Capitol.
