For shopping fun, head to Abacus or When Pigs Fly Company Store. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Maine Wildlife Park and Spring Point Ledge Lighthouse. Change things up with these side-trips from Portland: Ogunquit (Footbridge Beach, Marginal Way Walkway, &more), Popham Beach State Park (in Phippsburg) and Kennebunkport (Kennebunk Beach & W.
