Cocoa Beach — 1 night

Situated in one of Florida's busiest vacation areas, Cocoa Beach burst onto the world scene in the 1960s, when it became a popular setting for parades honoring the nation's "Apollo" astronauts. On the 25th (Fri), examine the collection at Parker Brothers Concepts, then get all the information you need at NASA Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, then engage your brain at Space Shuttle Atlantis, and finally see the world from above with a helicopter tour. On the 26th (Sat), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: enjoy the sand and surf at Cocoa Beach, then soothe aching muscles at Beach Pole Fitness, then take a leisurely stroll along Cocoa Beach Pier, and finally indulge your senses at The Florida Key Lime Pie Company.
