Yekaterinburg, Russia to Stockholm is an approximately 9.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and ferry. The time zone changes from Yekaterinburg Standard Time to Central European Standard Time, which is usually a -4 hour difference. Though Cologne famously contains 12 Romanesque churches, the city's top prize remains its landmark Gothic cathedral.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Gross St. Martin and Muenster Cathedral (St. Paulus Dom). Visit Cologne Cathedral and Shrine of the Three Kings for their historical value. Get out of town with these interesting Cologne side-trips: Church of St. Severus (in Boppard), Koblenz (Basilica of St. Castor & Schloss Stolzenfels) and Muenster (St Lambert's Church, Historisches Rathaus, &more). Next up on the itinerary: see the interesting displays at Duftmuseum im Farina-Haus, explore the different monuments and memorials at Melaten-Friedhof, admire the striking features of St. Maria im Kapitol, and pause for some serene contemplation at Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cologne.
