Omaha — 6 nights

A major transportation hub, Omaha was once considered little more than a stopping point on a pioneer's journey west.
Get out of town with these interesting Omaha side-trips: Cellar 426 Winery (in Ashland), Lincoln (Nebraska State Holocaust Memorial, Sunken Gardens, &more) and Baker's Candies (in Greenwood). Next up on the itinerary: get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at Henry Doorly Zoo, get a taste of the local shopping with Old Market, try to win big at Horseshoe Council Bluffs, and contemplate the long history of Father Flanagan's Historic House.
