Attractions like Huka Falls Walkway and Adrenaline & Extreme Tours make great kid-friendly stops. Visiting Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland and Rainbow Springs Nature Park will get you outdoors. And it doesn't end there: whizz through the canopy at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks, take in the natural beauty of Lady Knox Geyser, identify plant and animal life at Redwoods Treewalk, and contemplate the long history of Te Puia.

Bring the kids along to Milford Sound and Hollyford Track. Step out of the city life by going to Doubtful Sound and Lake Gunn.
