Best known as home the Matterhorn mountain, Zermatt serves as a chic ski resort town of the Swiss Alps.
Get out of town with these interesting Zermatt side-trips: Chateau de Chillon (in Veytaux) and Chaplin's World (in Corsier-sur-Vevey). There's still lots to do: enjoy breathtaking views from Gornergrat, trek along 5 Lakes Walk, get interesting insight from Hinterdorfstrasse, and explore the activities along Stellisee.
