Explore Sorrento's surroundings by going to Positano (Miniaci Art Gallery, Absolute Positano, &more), Pompeii Archaeological Park (in Pompeii) and Praiano (Spiagge Le Praie, Spiaggia della Gavitella, &more). On the 20th (Tue), take in the architecture and atmosphere at Chiesa della Madonna della Neve, hike along Val Contrin, then get great views at La Terrazza delle Dolomiti, then take in the awesome beauty at Sass Pordoi, and finally appreciate the history behind Monumento a Fausto Coppi. On the next day, hit the slopes at Maestri Di Sci Moena 2010, find something for the whole family at Adventure Park Piciocaa, trek along Sentiero Attrezzato Lino Pederiva, then let the kids burn off some steam at Miniclub Tananai, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at Chiesa di S. Volfango.

Traveling by combination of flight and shuttle from Rome to Moena takes 6 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of train and bus. Traveling from Rome in June, you can expect nighttime temperatures to be slightly colder in Moena, with lows of 60°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 21st (Wed) early enough to go by car to Venice.
