Georgia’s largest city and capital, Atlanta is a thriving metropolis anchored by its southern roots.
Get in touch with nature at Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park and Atlanta BeltLine Eastside Trail. Popular historic sites such as Centennial Olympic Park and Oakland Cemetery are in your itinerary. Change things up with a short trip to Chickamauga Battlefield in Fort Oglethorpe (about 1h 50 min away).
