Interlaken — 3 nights

Nestled between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz in the heart of the Jungfrau region, Interlaken became popular for its proximity to the mountains and lakes of the Bernese Oberland region.
Explore Interlaken's surroundings by going to Grindelwald-First (in Grindelwald) and Mt Pilatus (in Kriens). There's still lots to do: fly like a bird with a parasailing or paragliding tour, take in the dramatic scenery at Trümmelbachfälle, take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Lauterbrunnen Village, and take some stellar pictures from Harderkulm.

Best known as home the Matterhorn mountain, Zermatt serves as a chic ski resort town of the Swiss Alps.
Kick off your visit on the 14th (Tue): take in panoramic vistas at Gornergrat, get interesting insight from Hinterdorfstrasse, and then stroll the grounds of Mountaineers' Cemetery. On the next day, pause for some serene contemplation at Intercontinental Church Society, take in the awesome beauty at The Matterhorn, then explore the striking landscape at Gorner Gorge, and finally contemplate the waterfront views at Stellisee.
