Guilin — 4 nights

The riverside karst landscape around Guilin has long made it a favorite with Chinese poets, photographers, and travelers.

In March, daily temperatures in Yangshuo County can reach 20°C, while at night they dip to 13°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 25th (Thu) to allow enough time to fly to Nanning.

Discover verdant natural scenery, a warm climate, and a diverse culture on a vacation in Nanning, a large city near the border with Vietnam.
On the 26th (Fri), tour the pleasant surroundings at China and Vietnam Friendship Pass, then browse the different shops at Mixc mall, and then stroll through Qingxiu Mountain. Keep things going the next day: explore the activities along Nanhu Lake Park and then walk around Jinhuacha Park.

Fly from Yangshuo County to Nanning in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or drive. Traveling from Yangshuo County in March, things will get a bit warmer in Nanning: highs are around 24°C and lows about 17°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 27th (Sat) early enough to fly back home.
