Formerly a sleepy fishing village, the beach resort town of Kuta now represents one of Indonesia's most popular tourist destinations.
Get out of town with these interesting Kuta side-trips: Uluwatu Temple (in Pecatu), Off-Road Tours (in Seminyak) and Tanah Lot Temple (in Beraban). There's lots more to do: make a splash at Waterbom Bali, tour the pleasant surroundings at Pantai Sanur, indulge in some personalized pampering at some of the best spas, and let the kids burn off some steam at Cubby House Kids Club.
