11 days in Shanghai Itinerary

With a nickname like the "Pearl of the Orient," it's not surprising Shanghai offers some of the most rewarding attractions and activities in the Far East.

Head to Former French Concession and Shanghai Propaganda Poster Art Centrefor plenty of shopping. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum and Master-of-Nets Garden. Step out of Shanghai to go to Suzhou and see Landscape Architecture, which is approximately 1h 35 min away. There's still lots to do: examine the collection at Shanghai Museum (Shanghai Bowuguan), admire the landmark architecture of Jade Buddha Temple, make a trip to Oriental Pearl Tower (Dongfang Mingzhu), and take in the spiritual surroundings of Longhua Temple.
