Virtually unchanged for the last six centuries, Venice is actually a group of islands made famous by a series of canals, bridges, monuments, piazzas, and narrow pedestrian lanes.
Your day-by-day itinerary now includes Canal Grande as well as Piazza San Marco. Kick off your visit on the 4th (Sat): snap pictures at Ponte di Rialto, make a trip to Basilica di San Marco, and then appreciate the extensive heritage of Campo del Ghetto.

Oslo, Norway to Venice is an approximately 6-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of car and train.
