An old imperial city, Rothenburg is the main tourist stop on the scenic Romantic Road of Bavaria.
Start off your visit on the 6th (Sat): explore the historical opulence of Würzburg Residence, contemplate the long history of Siebers Tower, take a stroll through Altstadt, then see the interesting displays at Medieval Crime Museum (Mittelalterliches Kriminalmuseum), and finally steep yourself in history at Spital Bastion. On your second day here, make a trip to Klingentor, take in the spiritual surroundings of St. Wolfgang's Church, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Franziskanerkirche, then steep yourself in history at Gerlachschmiede, and finally steep yourself in history at Town Walls.
