Located just 140 km (90 mi) from Cuba, Key West is an island only about 6.4 km (4 mi) long and 1.6 km (1 mi) wide.
Explore Key West's surroundings by going to Big Pine Key (National Key Deer Refuge & Bahia Honda State Park) and Crane Point Museum & Nature Center (in Marathon).
