    Visited just the Jewels exhibition which was excellent. There is an audio tour on the Hermitage website which is also very good.  more »

    It deserves to be called Hermitage indeed. It is beautiful outside and inside. I ended to enjoy more the place than the exposition. And yet, the exposition was wonderful. I can only give appraisals to the museum. Clean, well organized, interesting, beautiful, practical, well located, etc.

    The Hermitage has a great collection of art. The expositions are placed in nice, spacious halls with great lighting. The building itself is a beautiful place close to the city center. The only downside are the high prices for a ticket and in the restaurant.
