The largest of three falls on the island, Khlong Chao Waterfalls makes a refreshing and idyllic spot for swimming. Access the attraction by a hike through the jungle; alternatively, you can cycle the route, whose flat terrain affords a leisurely ride just a few kilometers long. Once there, go for a dip in the invigorating waters of the falls' plunge pool. There are no kiosks on site, so bring a decent supply of food and drink. You don't need a full day to get here. It's an easy walk down the path about 10 minutes max. Rugged but not too tricky for kids but definitely not wheelchair accessible. The water was clean and refreshing. It was breezy and the water is moving so mosquitoes were not bad at all. A pleasant late morning trip. Beautiful nature. 5 baht Bathrooms in the parking lot if someone is there. We were asked to give a 10 baht donation.
What an adventure to go there during rain season. The mud on the last bit of hiking road was like 10cm deep! The water was very clear and blue. Just excellent
