  • We took our children to this sanctuary hoping to give them a chance to interact with elephants, and this place more than delivered. Everything from the food served for lunch, to the interactions with the elephants were amazing. Two definite highlights of the experience were feeding them bananas and bathing them in the river. It is very obvious that the elephants are well taken care of and loved by the owner and the workers. The owner is easy to coordinate with and makes sure your experience is exceptional.
  • We had an amazing day with the elephants. We got picked up at the hotel, went to the market to buy bananas and stopped at another market to buy some fresh ingredients for lunch. We were with two and got to meet two elephants. They are taking very good care of the elephants and obviously have a lot of knowledge on how to do so. We spent a lot of time with the elephants, feeding bananas and bathing with them. Eddy-the-elephant-man was our guide for the day. A cheerful, friendly, enthusiastic man, speaking a decent word of English and even some Dutch. He taught us a lot and answered every question we had. Also the other employees were friendly and helpful. During the day we received drinks, snacks, fruits and for lunch they cooked us a delicious meal with chicken, rice and fresh vegetables. They asked us if we would like to have pictures being taken during the day, which were uploaded on facebook the same evening. At the end of the day we were dropped off at our hotel again. I would really recommend this activity!
