Its narrow streets support to an array of buildings that feature Norman Baroque architecture, including the palaces of Maltese noble families. • Mdina - historical city with views across Malta. Beautiful architecture, churches, coffee shops and restaurants. A good way to get an initial idea of the place is to do a horse-drawn carriage ride. Well-treated animals in good condition, the driver stops and explains the history at points along the way. We found it was quieter mid-afternoon than in the morning. The Mdina glass factory has excellent gifts for sale and these are well wrapped. We will return.
  • Very beautiful touristic attraction. This is a beautiful entrance to the city where also Game of Thrones was filmed for kings landing in the first seasons. It is also worth visiting in the evening. There are no cars which makes the experience even better.
