Create an itinerary including Blue Hole
A turquoise swimming hole in the hills of Ocho Rios, Blue Hole remains a secluded and relatively untouristed hidden gem. Splash and swim to your heart's delight in this refreshing natural pool at the base of a pristine waterfall. The area has few amenities, so bring your own essentials and wear shoes appropriate for uneven terrain. First-time visitors should bring a guide to negotiate the slippery terrain and point out safe (and unsafe) diving spots. While Jamaica's larger tour companies rarely take visitors to this unofficial attraction, many of the smaller local operators offer guided walks that include stops at the waterfall. • We had a fantastic experience at this place! Not only was it beautiful and refreshing, but the tour guides and life guards were amazing. They carried my two young kids most of the way to keep them safe. I don’t even think I could have done that. Highly recommend!
  • We had a wonderful time. It’s absolutely beautiful here. We got to hang out a little after we jumped and it was so peaceful. The water feels amazing. We had the best tour guides. Our group was pretty large and they all were helpful and very nice. Unfortunately, I don’t remember everyone’s name but I do remember Jay. Be sure to bring water shoes, if you can. They do have some available to purchase. On the little hike up and back, you can stop to purchase some jerk chicken if you get a little hungry. I’ll be sure to go back my next visit!
