Create an itinerary including Villa Cimbrone Gardens
One of the highlights of Villa Cimbrone Gardens is the Terrace of Infinity, a natural balcony with 18th-century marble busts and views of the sea, lemon groves, and mountains. As you walk through gardens of this historic villa, you'll wander past oak, alder, and chestnut trees. Make your way down to the natural cave that is home to a 19th-century marble statue of Eve. Walk up the stairway to the rose gardens to breathe in the scent of French and English roses. Look for the inscription quoting poet Omar Khayyám. Latch on to a guide at the entrance if you want to see all the sculptures and learn their stories. • The gardens and views are spectacular, the entrance fee is very modest, you will be missing something if you do not visit Villa Cimbrone

  • Honestly, you can get the same view anywhere in Ravello. For 20€ a couple, we thought the gardens would be breath-taking. In late July, there were barely any flowers left on wilted vines. Incredibly.....  more

  • All I can say is wow the place was amazing. Service blew us away. Staff was seemingly always one step ahead of us. Everyone somehow knew who we were everywhere we went on the property. Bar staff and waiters all remembered what we had ordered on previous days. Very thoughtful and detailed, well beyond what would be expected. Breakfast is very good. Wide selection of pastries, eggs, fruit, smoked fish, sausage, etc. The gardens are world-class, and the entire property is beautiful and very quiet. Even the pool was a serene escape from the busy Amalfi coast.
  • The setting and grounds were great no doubt. But the staff and details were not great. The pool guy sat on hit rear all day and was bothered if you asked for something. On our second day he greeted us on arrival and said we should not order through him because food was better at the restaurant. The bar and dinner staff we stiff, slow and never smiled or had any charm. Worst at 2k per night our room was 26c or 80 degrees and the manager just blew it off. Great place just not well run. I’d visit the grounds and stay elsewhere.
