Create an itinerary including Slieve League
Though not as famous as its counterpart, Slieve League boasts cliffs that are actually three times the size of the Cliffs of Moher. This mountain along the Atlantic Coast stands 601 m (1,972 ft) high. Explore the area by foot along the site's pathways, or drive to a nearby lookout for a panoramic view of the sea cliffs. The most popular and well-photographed viewpoint is called Bunglass and can be reached by road from Teelin. Take an archeological tour of the region and visit the Slieve League Cliffs Centre for more tourist information, a quick bite at the cafe, or to browse the gift shop. Using our custom trip planner, Carrick attractions like Slieve League can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

  • The walk up to the cliffs will take your breath away but the view is well worth the effort. I could have stood looking at the colour of the rocks and the sea below all day.

  • We walked the hiking path until the weather made us stop. Amazing views as we walked up the path. We then drove to the Visitors Center and took the bus ride, again an amazing view of the cliffs.

  • Absolutely stunning views!! Going in November was quiet, and we were able to drive up the whole way beyond the gate!
  • Very nice, no entry fee which is always nice just pay for parking. It was lashing when we were there but still had a great time and the cliffs are so big you're bound to see some of it.
