Feldberg, the highest mountain in the Black Forest, soars to 1,493 m (4,898 ft). Take the chairlift from the valley up to Seebuck peak. From here, the peak of Feldberg is a 2 km (1.2 mi) walk. Once you reach the peak, you will be rewarded with one of the most extensive panoramas of Germany. An annotated map up top helps you identify what you see, including the Vosges Mountains, Palatinate Forest, Swabian Alb, Jura Mountains, and the Alps.
