Get a bird's-eye view of Berlin from the top of Berliner Fernsehturm, the highest point in the city. A symbol of Berlin since it was erected in the 1960s, this is the tallest structure in Germany. The tower is 368 m (1,207 ft) tall, with an observation deck 204 m (670 ft) above ground. Try to time your visit for a sunny day, as thick fog can obscure the view from the top on overcast days. You can wait for the morning mist to clear at the tower's rotating restaurant, which spins 360 degrees in just under 30 minutes. The tower welcomes nearly 1.5 million tourists each year, so be prepared for a long wait at the entrance. You can avoid standing in line by booking a fixed date and time of your visit on the tower's website. Berliner Fernsehturm reviews
Must see in Berlin. Busy so get tickets in advance. The restaurant was fully booked unfortunately, but the viewing platform has great panormaic views of the city and will keep you occupied for some... more »
We were unsure of whether to do this, but can’t recommend highly enough. If you suffer from vertigo, maybe not the attraction for you. Would still go out of my way to do this again though!!! more »
Worth a visit for the views, 25euro just for entry per person if u are having dinner in the restaurant about . A little cheaper if u just go for a drink in the bar. Excellent views of Alexanderplatz, drinks are priced good . Bar staff were excellent although sometimes it can take a while to be served. Can get busy up there at times .
If you don't want to wait for hours make sure you buy the fast track tickets which five you access at a certain time. Views were lovely. It would help if the photos of buildings were lit to make it easier to read.
