Let us tell you a story about a man named Sam...
Sam was an Australian, and like many of us, delighted by all things "Parisian" since he was a little kid. So like any good 'francophile' would, he packed his bags and moved to Paris!
He even moved in with a French man named Carl. While Carl was off doing typical Parisian things- drinking wine, eating baguettes, wearing berets, and most importantly, going to the theatre, Sam was stuck in Australian bars, with Australian people, and drinking Australian beer like most tourists and expats, since the beautiful French language is rather difficult to master.
Luckily, Carl, contrary to what you might believe, is a welcoming, open-minded French person! He wanted to include his English speaking friend in his favourite Parisian activities.
Thus was born the dream of Theatre in Paris: rendering France's vibrant, Broadway-quality theatre scene accessible to everyone!

Théâtre Edouard VII Reviews
Clever entertainer and a pleasant venue. Entertaining adult comedy show, but not suitable for children. more »
As an American couple, it was great to experience an authentic French musical. The artists were extremely talented. The theater was outfitted with a projector that displayed English captions above... more »
We love visiting historical theaters and this was no exception, happy that a play in French with English subtitles was playing. Very well done!
A poorly managed theater that overbooked its seats. We arrived with gold square category seats and were finally seated at the back of the room as the theater had given or re-sold our seats for a profit. The administration does not control at all its staff who do as they please with no repect of customers: I am not even talking about security issues which should be handled outside this blog because they are outrageous since they are using restaurant people to deal with security issues. The person responsible for the ticketing is absolutely outrageous it is better not to approach her and arrive 30 minutes before if you want to have your real seats... It's the jungle out there: a theater to avoid that no longer respects anything as they used to : Things change in Paris...
