The 16th-century stronghold lies in partial ruins today, which include the the fort remains, a lighthouse, and several cannons.   • Take the short walk up to the lighting house near the harbor. You have a nice view over the channel to Nolsoy, the harbor and part of the city.  more »
  • A must see i Torshavn. You get a fantastic view over all of Torshavn and the surrounding Islands as well as the busy harbour.  more »
  • Really nice monument to the fort that was here. Good signs with some interesting information. Really great views from the top out towards the water and back towards the town.
  • Wonderful scenery. But very cold for me being Maltese! Still loved it.
