  • Can't say I'm glad I saw it as there wasn't much to see. Just a collection or guns, swords and documents. The new section for new Egypt is completely unrelated to the museum and made no sense.

  • For sure the biggest collection of historical fire arms and daggers I've seen anywhere. It has a very nice garden too. I'd recommend visiting it if you are staying in Cairo. Tickets can be bought on a small booth 100m before the entrance (inside a square, look for a sign in Arabic but with the word "ticket" in English)
  • Very wonderful and historic palace, witness a luxurious and elegant building that although it is used as an administrative headquarters, does not leave aside the design work carried out by Egyptian, Turkish, Italian, and French architects. Being at the head of its construction Khedive Ismail. Numerous weapons are given to President Mubarak. In addition, a group of ancient weapons and excellent decorations received by illustrious characters and the royal family in Egypt are exhibited inside
